  1. Where can I buy Perfect Sweet?

    Perfect Sweet is now available in supermarkets and health food shops up and down the country. If you are not sure where to find it, then click on the Where to Buy tab, under the product heading and send us an email with your postcode, we will get back to you with your nearest stockists in no more than a couple of days.

  2. Is Perfect Sweet suitable for Diabetics?


    3. Perfect Sweet is ideal for diabetics. With a GI value of just 7, it does not impact on blood sugar levels and therefore has no demands on insulin in the body. This is fantastic news for diabetics as finally there is a natural, sugar tasting alternative on the market.

  3. Can I use Perfect Sweet in cooking?


    4. Perfect Sweet can be used in cooking in exactly the same way as sugar. Just replace the amount of sugar in any recipe with exactly the same amount of Perfect Sweet. The only two differences are that Perfect Sweet will not brown like sugar, and cannot be used with a yeast (e.g. in bread making).

    Xylitol is a natural sugar alternative that is found in a whole host of plants and fruits. It was first found in birch tree bark (hence the name xylitol, which comes from the Ancient Greek word xyl, meaning wood), but is now commonly extracted from sweet corn husks.   6. Is Perfect Sweet safe for pregnant women and young children?

    Perfect Sweet is great for mums to be, with several new studies showing that pregnant mums that use Xylitol have children whose mouths contain significantly less bacteria than normal babies. This effect has been seen to still be in place as the children get as old as five and even seven years old, with obvious benefits for the childrens teeth. Perfect Sweet is safe for children as part of a balanced and nutritious diet.

    8. Perfect Sweet has a shelf life of two years, so should last in your cupboard for a good while- not that it will once you have tasted it!

The body treats Perfect Sweet differently from sugar and artificial sweeteners, so whilst your body adapts to this healthier sugar alternative we suggest that new users restrict the amount they use to a maximum of a quarter of a bag a day for the first week or so. After that have as much as you like!

    Dogs in particular digest food in a different way to humans, so our advice is to keep Perfect Sweet out of the reach of your pooch's paws.
